I waited months, if not years to buy this set. I kept seeing it online with brilliant reviews and was waiting until I was certain I wanted to commit to the purchase, so it saddens me to now leave a 3 star review.
Pros:
- The set looks just as good, if not even better than pictured. The colour is beautifully vibrant, and remains so after washing.
- The feel of these sheets is pure luxury. They are silky buttery smooth and an absolute treat.
- The sheets fit my king mattress with plenty of material to spare, whilst simultaneously not bunching up. This makes for a really easy bed-making experience, especially with the additional labels. Clearly the design has been well thought out.
Con:
The entire purpose for me researching and buying these sheets is for a cooler sleeping experience. My partner runs hot, whereas I run cold. It is a struggle in Australian summer to find sheets that one can comfortably sleep in during those peak hot nights. I now know, that these sheets are definitely not those. These sheets are actually warmer than the non-bamboo sheets I was looking to replace. Considering I'm not a hot sleeper, it was an unwelcome surprise to find these sheets making me sweat. Considering this is the entire reason I purchased these sheets, I am very disappointed with this outcome. I feel like no other reviews are saying this though so I guess make your own judgement if the pros outweigh the con for you? In the meantime we now have these beautiful autumn/winter sheets that we will enjoy

We don’t often receive feedback like this, but we do try to cater to a wide range of sleep preferences, including those of hot sleepers. However, we recognise that, in some cases, individuals who are naturally very hot-blooded may still experience warmth, regardless of the fabric’s cooling properties.
