Buttery soft and ultra-breathable, bamboo sheets are the superheroes of today's bedding. Packed full of comfort and easy on the planet, you'll be sleeping like a baby in no time at all.
Bamboo is is one of the most sustainable textile materials. Bamboo as a crop is extremely resource efficient due to how fast it grows and how little water is required to grow. It also doesn't require the root system to be dug up when harvested. Meaning that soil integrity is maintained and continuously reinvested in via fallen foliage from harvest decomposing. Our bamboo bedding is sourced from FSC certified bamboo forests which ensure sustainable practises. On top of this, no pesticides are required which means bamboo can be classified as being organic.
The sateen weave of our bamboo sheets means that these will be the softest sheets you'll ever try. If you have ever slept on silk then you will know the feeling. Our bamboo sheets are that soft but cost a 1/4 of what a premium set of silk sheets will cost. You get all the benefits for a fraction of the cost.
Bamboo sheets are renounced for their moisture wicking properties. This means throughout the night, the sheets will keep you dry, enabling your body to regulate temperature. It will help alleviate the rollercoaster ride of overheating. No more kicking your sheets off to try and cool down. Get the temperature right with your bedding set up and trust in the bamboo sheets power to keep you dry and cosy all night long. Temperature regulation is key to a better night's sleep.
Bamboo fibres have fantastic antimicrobial properties due to their sweat wicking capabilities which help reduce allergy flare ups caused by pathogens, dead skins cells and dust mites which fester when excess moisture seeps into your bed sheets. Just make sure you regularly wash your sheets to make the most of this property
Cold or warm machine wash on a gentle cycle to prevent tearing and pilling. Line dry is recommended and to avoid direct sunlight when doing so. Avoid hot temperatures and the tumble dry feature on your washing machine/dryer.
Relative to other bed linen, bamboo sheets do not have a high thread count compared to Egyptian Cotton. Our sheets have a thread count of 400. The old theory was the higher the thread count the better the sheets. This is not the case as it doesn't take into account the sateen weave of our sheets. Sateen weave had longer threads which create a smoother surface. So when it comes to bamboo bedding products, don't let thread count dissuade you.
