Is corduroy too heavy for an Australian summer?

The corduroy top does add some weight, but because the underside is made of breathable bamboo, it’s much better at regulating heat than a full synthetic cover. It’s perfect for those who like a bit of "weight" to their bedding without the middle-of-the-night sweats.

Is the corduroy side scratchy to touch?

Not at all. We’ve used a soft-touch cotton corduroy that’s designed to be plush and inviting. Plus, the side that actually touches your body is our signature silky bamboo, so you get the look of corduroy with the comfort of bamboo.

How do I wash it without ruining the texture?

It’s tougher than it looks. Just wash it inside out on a cold, gentle cycle to protect the corduroy ridges. To keep it feeling soft, we recommend line drying in the shade or a quick tumble dry on low heat.

Does it attract pet hair like crazy?

While corduroy has more texture than bamboo, the cotton blend we use makes it easy to maintain. A quick once-over with a lint roller or a damp cloth is usually all it takes to keep it looking fresh and fur-free.

Will the colour fade after a few washes?

I absolutely love the texture of this quilt cover!! The sage green colour is so soft and versatile, I’ve currently paired it with the oatmeal flannelette sheets but it also looks amazing with the forest green bamboo sheets. Absolute winner!!

Absolutely obsessed

This is one of my favourite quilt covers I’ve ever owned. Over the years, I’ve had a few different quilt cover brands, and this one easily tops them all.

One of my favourite features is the clips that secure the quilt inside the cover. It makes a huge difference. No more waking up in the middle of the night cracking a nut and trying to find the quilt has bunched up at the bottom or shifted completely out of place.

I’m also a huge texture person, so the feel of bedding is incredibly important to me. As someone with a dust mite allergy, finding bedding that is both comfortable and suitable can be challenging. Thankfully, this quilt cover ticks all the boxes. The fabric is silky smooth, soft against the skin, and feels incredible without being overly heavy.

Fabulous quilt cover

I have got a coupleof sheets sets and quilt covers now and thought I'd give the cordaroy a go for winter. I have paired it with the oatmeal flannelette sheets. Its amazing and perfect for where we live as it gets pretty cold at night! The weight is fabulous for winter and also love the bamboo side especially for the pillow cases.

The corduroy and bamboo combination has been great for colder nights. Still very breathable, and nice and cosy too. The heavier corduroy seems to make for a very comfortable and deeper sleep than just straight bamboo.
