Why the world needs bamboo
There are approximately 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic waste in our oceans. 269,000 tonnes float, 4 billion microfibers per km² dwell below the surface. Our marine life is suffocating. 100 million are dying every year. So when someone says "It's just one toothbrush" or "It's just one straw" when referring to single-use plastics, billions of other people do too. It's a massive problem when combined and the only way to tackle is to change individual behaviours. Bamboo products are sustainable, eco-friendly alternatives to plastic and that's what we're all about.
Bamboo toothbrush holder perks
Easy drying
Using a bamboo toothbrush holder allows your toothbrush to dry standing upright following use. This allows for super quick drying. Pat down your bamboo toothbrush with a bathroom hand towel prior to placing it in your toothbrush holder.
Less clutter
A chic looking bathroom is also a top priority! Luckily for you, these little guys look awesome when set-up and help you to avoid a cluttered bathroom look. Stack up as many holders as you need and mix in some colourful toothbrushes and you're golden. Minimalist vibes!
No more drips
Ever used a plastic cup as a toothbrush holder that collects a bunch of drips and watery toothpaste? Aside from being gross, it's also not eco-friendly due to the plastic factor. Swap for a sustainable alternative like a bamboo toothbrush holder. No more drips!
100% biodegradable
Our toothbrush holders are made from 100% organic bamboo which is sustainably sourced and biodegradable. This means that when you're done with the bamboo toothbrush holder, you can compost it and it will break down into plant matter over 12 months.

Our compass
Our business values
Everything we do is geared towards creating a positive impact on our people and planet. Profit is not the focus, our community and environment is. Our values in eco-sustainability extend to our sourcing methods which are centred on partnering with ethically conscious suppliers. Natural and organic materials are a must for Ecoy and any surrounding aspects to our supply chain including transport and packaging are carbon neutral and plastic-free.
Our community mission
A straight forward one. Eliminate single-use plastics from the daily habits of Australian's. Especially within the bathroom. The climate change research is undeniable and to be honest, the repercussions of wasteful practices in humans are being felt present day with repeatedly record breaking natural disasters, a reduction in native wild life and fauna along with rising temperatures every year. Hopefully the decision is made easier for the typical Aussie customer to choose earth first via increased access to eco-friendly alternatives across home decor, health, bathroom and garden categories.
Why bamboo?
Bamboo is our boo! The plant-like species is a super material and tops the charts in terms of sustainability, biodegradability, and fast-growing production. It releases an abundance of oxygen into our atmosphere and is highly carbon absorbent relative to other greenery. Any products made with bamboo are also naturally anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and odour resistant due to unique properties. There's so many benefits but the biggest of all, any time someone switches to bamboo, that's one less time single-use plastic is purchased. This can be said for our bamboo toothbrush holder, straws, cutlery, toothbrushes and all of Ecoy's products.
